Aussie Farmstay and Bush Adventures Pty Ltd was started in 2007 to provide travellers with Tours from Sydney, Australia that give the the opportunity to experience more than just the bustling city. They get off the beaten tourist track, and into the true Aussie bush.
We will give you a city escape which provides the opportunity to experience authentic Australian bush character.
Tours are designed to be relaxed and friendly. Hands on involvement of passengers in all activities is encouraged. To make the best use of time available, tours are packed with activities which showcase authentic Australian Bush character.
Sally Bray is your chief driver/guide. Sally grew up on a farm near Eugowra in Central New South Wales. She has a long and extensive background knowledge of the areas into which tours venture.
Before turning her hand to tourist operations Sally was most recently a high school science teacher, and has previously worked in areas as diverse as hospitality, aged care, computer operations and museum guiding. She is well travelled herself, having lived and toured on most continents of the world and is very knowledgeable about the needs of travellers.
Sally is passionate about sharing the Australian bush culture with others and leads tours from Sydney which incorporate as many features of Australian bush life as possible.
Laurie and Bill Norris grew up on Inglevale, a small farm in the hills outside of Eugowra NSW. They are our farmstay hosts and provide a very enjoyable and hospitable stay.
Laurie and Bill are experts in many farming and bush skills and bush crafts such as sheep mustering and shearing, whip cracking, horsemanship, bush poetry, folk singing and camp fire cooking.
Visitors to Inglevale will be struck by Laurie and Bill’s welcoming nature, hospitality, humour and skill in Australian farming and bush skills.
Their father Wilf, to this day, breeds and uses only draught horses to work his farm. If we are lucky we will have a visit from Wilf and demonstration of his skills in ploughing and other draught horse handling.
